The process of layering is something I find intriguing in art and it relates
very closely to working with glass, a material which naturally lets you
see through and beyond. I have been developing skills in sandblasting
and engraving and acid etching. With these processes of 'taking away'
I am able to texture the glass and create linear marks which I have been
developing in my sketchbook and glass work.

This is the site for Green Ginger Glass, a workshop and glass supplies outlet located in the National Glass Centre, Suynderland.
As well as stock items such as Mirrors, Light catchers and Candle Sconces,
theyalso work to commission making Leaded Panels. They also stock a range
of Glass and Tools for both the Lead and Copper Foil techniques.

You should note that this is primarily a UK site. All bona fide UK studios, professional and amateur are usually listed. Sites from abroad or overseas, will only be listed if we think they would be interesting for our UK artists and visitors.
