"A SCOTTISH STAINED GLASS GAZETTE"
by Rona Moody
This is a gazetteer of stained glass throughout Scotland. I have put
it together from a variety of sources - publications, studio lists, personal
visits, newspaper cuttings, personal letters and conversations.
Some of the windows may no longer be in existence, or have been taken
out to go somewhere else or may not be generally accessible. Check before
you head off on a trek up some remote glen!

INSCH: STAINED GLASS OF ROSELYNNE O'NEILL
The people of the Garioch are passionate about their local history and heritage. I share this passion in my artwork whether it be painting, drawing or glass, sometimes combining the actual media.
I use the ancient glass techniques of long ago coupled with the most modern technology to continue to create and adore the most wonderful art of glass.

If it's glass, we probably do it

A fantastic site with many examples of great work, much of it Mackintosh but plenty of their own style: "modern designs that are sympathetic to the past; neo-gothic, Georgian,Victorian, Art Nouveau, Art Deco, Abstract, Pop Art, Post Modernist, we can work with different styles as required as well as our own, creative new work."
GLASGOW: JOHN CLARK
Glass painter extraordinaire.
John built the millennium window for Glasgow Cathedral. His
site is an inspiration to we lesser mortals. He is totally unpretentious.
Well worth a visit.
GLASGOW: KILNRIGG GLASS
Keen to obtain a leaded or stained glass panel depicting English Setters, Lorraine browsed antique fairs, fine art shops, etc., but
came to light. So she attended college to learn to make one herself.
Her first work was an internal window for her dining room measuring four feet by two feet (140cm by 70cm). She progressed to making
individual panels of various subjects for acquaintances and friends. This led to the international commissions for which she is now known.
Traditional Stained Glass Windows
Lorraine Lamond has developed her love of stained glass in her own unique
style of working which combines the traditional medieval techniques of
etching and staining with her own very contemporary and painterly vision
