 WHAT IS SPAM?

Spam, in broad terms is the sending of unsolicited
e-mails in overwhelming numbers.

Here is how to report Spammers to their ISPs, using the service provided by SPAMCOP. It works really well.

WHAT TO DO (if you use Outlook Express)

Right click on the offending e-mail
Click on PROPERTIES
Click on DETAILS
Click on MESSAGE SOURCE (This reveals the source code of the e-mail)
<CTRL><A> to select all the code
<Ctrl><C> to put the code onto the clip board
Close the code window by clicking on the small cross top right.
Click on CANCEL to close the Properties window.

Now use your browser to go to SPAMCOP's web site
Place the cursor in the box just above the INTERROGATE button.
<CTRL><V> to paste the offending e-mail details.
Click on INTERROGATE.
Wait a few moments.
Click on REPORT SPAM TO YYY@YYY.COM
This will open an e-mail for you to send.
In the body of the e-mail <CTRL><V> to paste the offending e-mail code.
Click on send to send the e-mail to its owmer's ISP.

You'll be doing your bit.
I do one a day to the most offensive e-mail received.
I receive over 200 spam e-mails per day.
